On Tuesday evening, Israeli soldiers shot a young Palestinian man in Asira Al-Qibliyya village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.
Media sources said several military jeeps invaded the village, leading to protests before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot a young man with a live round in the thigh.
The soldiers also closed several streets in the town and installed roadblocks in several parts of the Nablus governorate.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Jayyous town, east of the northwestern West Bank city of Qalqilia, before storming and ransacking many homes.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks on the road between Azzoun and Jayyous which remained surrounded and isolated for the third day amidst constant invasions of homes.
